Absolute Beginners Workshop

Wanting to try yoga but not ready to jump into a group class? This introductory workshop will help new students feel comfortable and confident to begin their yoga practice.
Yoga is for everyone! This includes all body-types and ages. This workshop will help students learn basic alignment that can be applied to every yoga pose including, injury management and modifications. We will also introduce the anatomy of breathing, connecting our breath and movement, and provide simple breathing exercises that can be used anywhere. The flow will be conversational, the pace chill, with opportunities to ask questions and quell fears.
No prior yoga experience needed. Come wearing loose fitting, comfortable clothing (layers are recommended). Please try not to eat or drink at least one hour before start time and plan on hydrating after class, not during. Mats and props will be provided.
