Not all who wander are lost… and you don’t need a plane ticket to explore.
Happy July, Yogis!
We hope you're staying cool (and calm, and collected) as we ease into July—a season of movement, celebration, and adventure.
Whether you're traveling across the country or enjoying a staycation right here in NYC, July invites the spirit of exploration. Our theme this month is Samyati—the Sanskrit word for wandering or journeying.
There’s something powerful about stepping away from our usual routines. Traveling—whether near or far—offers us new sights, new people, new snacks(!), and new perspectives. It awakens our senses and reveals habits we may not even be aware of.
There’s a joy and excitement that comes with the novelty of travel! But we don’t need to go far to feel that spark.
A walk through Central Park can feel brand new if we meet it with curiosity. A familiar yoga pose can feel completely different if we focus on something new and approach it with openness. On the mat, we return to the same shapes again and again—but with presence and playful awareness, each breath becomes an opportunity for discovery.
So whether you're leaving town, crossing oceans, or just hopping boroughs this month—let’s explore with joy and intention.
